You like all-inclusive vacations, right? Think of Tahoe Mountain Club as an all-inclusive-all-seasons resort and you'll begin to understand the value of being a TMC member. Some of my favorite activities of living here in Tahoe are based around Tahoe Mountain Club membership, and today I'm going to share those with you.
1. The Pavillion at Old Greenwood
The Pavillion is where you find the fun. Home to the pools, concierge, member events, poolside dining, workout facility, the market, locker rooms, and spa - the Pavillion, adjacent to Old Greenwood's club house is where all the action happens. My family hangs out at the Pavillion all the time, weather it's wine tasting and s'mores, my wife catching a Zumba class, or my kids learning to fish, Tahoe Mountain Club has something to add richness to your life - or vacation for those part-timers.
2. Alpine Club and Shaffer's Camp at Northstar California
Northstar has consistently been rated a top family friendly ski resort in North America, and TMC members love it!! TMC members have the best Northstar offers, with entry to Alpine club, Northstar's #1 spot for Apres cocktails and a bite to eat. Members also have the luxury of gear storage - ski shlepping no longer!! Park, grab your gear and go hit the slopes. Our kids love having a hot cocoa in the movie room, lounging on the bean bags after a long ski day; which I'll admit as season pass holders sometimes with young kids our ski days may consist of only two runs. Often after my buddies and I finish skiing you'll find us at Alpine Club's semi-circle granite bar having a beer and catching a game.
The MOST EXCLUSIVE on-mountain restaurant, Shaffer's Camp is a member's only, fine dining establishment. The food and service here are unparalleled, and the entire experience is a dream. Straight off the Zephyr lift, you'll be ushered into the 'slipper room' where you can hang helmets and swap those rigid boots for warm slippers. Then sit down and prepare to be spoiled. It's a must-do after a long morning of skiing.

4. Two huge pools, a waterslide, and two hot tubs
Pictured above, is my son competing in the Old Greenwood cardboard boat regatta. This event is super fun, and Tahoe Mountain Club is constantly hosting other fun social parties. Families are provided a roll of duck tape, two slats of cardboard, and a box cutter and challenged to create something that will survive the width of the pool with a family member as captain. This pool is the 18 and older pool the rest of the year, and there's a upper pool that has a waterslide and 'beach entry' shallow end. Pools and hot tubs are open year around- provided the temperature reaches 40 degrees.
For both full-time residents and vacation home owners, Tahoe Mountain Club has a ton to offer. Please email me, I'd love to connect you with the fine people that make up the Member Services team.
